About Us

Zumwalt’s Handcrafted Jewelry is a small artisan business located in Lafayette, Indiana. We, Justin and Ze, are a team of two and the creators of every piece of jewelry you see here.

Our creative story began in the summer of 2025 when we started working with our mentor Julie Bunch of Julie Bunch Originals, an independent, local artist who took us under her wing and taught us everything we know. Under her gracious guidance, we have learned (and continue to learn) how to put our creativity to work transforming basic materials into pieces of art to be enjoyed by anyone and everyone. We immediately joined her in selling our pieces at the Historic Lafayette Farmer’s Market every Saturday and it quickly became the foundation of our business.

“Handcrafted” is in our name because we feel strongly about making every piece from start to finish using our own hands and equipment. Every piece is uniquely made by us. We use high quality materials including, but not limited to, sterling silver and genuine gemstones ensuring that each piece is beautiful and built to last. As the smiths, content creators, shippers, and customer service team, we can guarantee that great care, attention, and craftsmanship goes into every order.
