FAQ

Q: What metals do you work with?

A: We primarily work with Sterling silver, but also have pieces made of copper, aluminum, bronze, and 14k gold filled.

Q: Will the copper earrings turn my ears green?

A: No. Even with the primary metal of some of our earrings being copper, we still use hypoallergenic sterling silver ear wire to ensure comfort and durability while wearing.

Q: The pattern on the jewelry is starting to fade. How can I restore it?

A: You are able to see the beautiful patterns our pieces because of a process called patina. One way to restore this look it is has faded is to cover the pieces in permanent marker (bear with me) and use a nail buffer to scrape it away on the surface, leaving the patterned crevices dark and visible.

Q: What size should my chainmaille bracelets be?

A: We recommend that in consideration of wear comfort and ease of application and removal that a bracelet should be about 3/4-1 inch longer than the circumference of the base of your wrist.

Q: How can I prevent my silver jewelry from tarnishing?

A: Wear it! The more you wear silver jewelry, the shinier it gets and while slowing the tarnishing process.

Q: How can I reverse the tarnish on silver quickly?

A: A home remedy for removing tarnish that has worked for us is to gather a boil-safe bowl, aluminum foil, baking soda, and boiling water. Line the bowl with the aluminum foil, shiny side up. Then, place your jewelry at the bottom, maintaining contact with the aluminum. Sprinkle some baking soda on top and pour your boiling water. Wait for it to cool rinse and dry with water and a microfiber cloth. Now your silver should look good as new!
